News: 2005-09-12: relaunch of the VIA group pages in new design 2005-08-13: The 5 minutes report about SimVis Hurricane Visualization which was broadcast on Austrian TV station ORF in the technology show Modern Times in February, was re-broadcast in the "Best of Modern Times" summary of the last year today. 2005-06-21: our application paper about visual analysis of flow in a water cooling jacket for a 4-cylinder engine has been accepted for publication at the IEEE Visualization Conference 2005 2005-03-11: Again an excellent award for SimVis: a recent scientific publication about visualizing data from the simulation of combustion in a diesel engine has been awarded with the Best Paper Award by an international expert jury at the conference "Simulation and Visualization 2005" in Magdeburg, Germany. older news
